You’re wrong about their commitment to winning. Never said I was a UT higher up. However, my voice means more up there than yours ever will. Proud of the connections I’ve been able to make over the years. Lots of quality people up on The Hill.

There are plenty of coaches people would be ecstatic with. Freeze, Fickell, Campbell, Petersen, so on. But Freeze is near the top line for many. Other than a top line hire, of course disagreement will happen.

But no one is realistically talking about us throwing the bank at the top line of HCs. We don't care enough to pull a TAMU or Bama. No serious push for a top line coach. It's a joke. We go straight to the 2nd or 3rd line, so yes people will disagree.

It doesn't mean we still won't be happy to be up off the floor of Pruitt.

I’d love to see Campbell or Fickell here. Campbell is turning down interviews with NFL teams. Doesn’t seem likely that he will come here. Fickell, IMO should sit where he is until his dream job opens.

I could definitely see this.

I think Gus is the first call but it would be hard to get him.

Consider me squarely in the Hyams camp that thinks we’re going to flail a little bit before landing on a B-tier candidate like Chadwell.

I will easily argue that his offense is pure outdated garbage that will be as bad as what we already have, and without a great DC and a staff that are awesome at recruiting and development that he will struggle to win six games till he is inevitably fired.

Mehlzahn does not have what it takes to fix the mess we have become.

ive known many quality people that are terrible decision makers.
