Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Lol... Maybe he could bring some luck here. That Auburn team his 1st season was one of the luckiest in college football history to get to 12-2. They beat Washington St by 7. Beat Miss St with a last minute td, came back from a big deficit to beat A&M in the 4th qtr, had the hail Mary vs UGA, and the kick six vs Bama. They had everything go right for them that year.
You’re wrong about their commitment to winning. Never said I was a UT higher up. However, my voice means more up there than yours ever will. Proud of the connections I’ve been able to make over the years. Lots of quality people up on The Hill.Wrong about what? You don't think he's open to the job?
Or that we don't care enough about winning? Because I'm talking about UT higher ups. Not fans. And you are not a UT higher up, so your call to Hugh means nothing, just like mine.
There are plenty of coaches people would be ecstatic with. Freeze, Fickell, Campbell, Petersen, so on. But Freeze is near the top line for many. Other than a top line hire, of course disagreement will happen. The problem is no matter who the new coach is, most of you will already hate it simply because it isn’t Freeze. I like Freeze, but he won’t be our coach because of his decisions and his actions, not our “lack of a commitment to winning”
I would rather get fisher or Marrone over gus from the “we definitely wouldn’t suck bin”I was told Friday by someone with a connection to Malzahan family that Gus is planning on sitting out this next year. I know that can change, but this person told me three years ago before it was public that Gus was not leaving Auburn to go to Arkansas and then Arkansas ended up with Chad Morris.
I could definitely see this.I was told Friday by someone with a connection to Malzahan family that Gus is planning on sitting out this next year. I will easily argue that his offense is pure outdated garbage that will be as bad as what we already have, and without a great DC and a staff that are awesome at recruiting and development that he will struggle to win six games till he is inevitably fired.Freeze is obviously my choice number 1 but let’s not kid ourselves. If they hired Gus I’d be more than happy with the 8 win seasons and occasional 10 win he’d throw up. One could easily argue he’d have Tennessee beating SC, KY, Missouri, Vandy and 3 scrubs in no time. The east is much easier especially at the bottom.
You have no idea what it’ll take to fix this mess, preacher man.I will easily argue that his offense is pure outdated garbage that will be as bad as what we already have, and without a great DC and a staff that are awesome at recruiting and development that he will struggle to win six games till he is inevitably fired.
Mehlzahn does not have what it takes to fix the mess we have become.
ive known many quality people that are terrible decision makers. You’re wrong about their commitment to winning. Never said I was a UT higher up. However, my voice means more up there than yours ever will. Proud of the connections I’ve been able to make over the years. Lots of quality people up on The Hill.
