This is my gut feeling as well.... If he wants to coach this next season givin his large buyout he received/receiving....If Fulmer stays no way he goes with a young gun... he'll go conservative...like he always did while coaching

I think we will win a lot with Gus. I think he knows what he needs to be successful and it’s less of a gamble. Then he can train someone up for succession planning. I would love to see us do something smart and calculated.

Gus would be an absolute homerun.

Malzhan would do fine here. He’d be pissed off for greatness and would bring a strong staff. Tennessee is a better job than Auburn, and being in the East would make it easier. He’d have us winning 8-10 ball games a year. All you can ask for.

I can assure you Jeff Fisher will not get a call from UT regarding this coaching search.

You are probably right, but he knows more football than the majority of coaches people are throwing out. He has great contacts, knows what it takes to get kids into the league.
Probably would be great with in home visits.
I have a hard time believing a 20 year head coach in the NFL is behind any college coach as far as x & o’s

He has to adapt his offense. People have caught up to it. But he would be solid if he could learn from his past mistakes. I feel confident we would never miss a bowl game with him.
