Idk if our offense is good enough to be a top 10 team

Seems like we have no rhythm and no set offense. Maybe just give credit to good defense by A&M. Just seems like we have to work hard for all of our offense. Not many easy buckets. Vescovi just drove it to the hole and had a layup but threw it out for a missed 3.

No on Marrone, yes on Fisher.

Fisher had a 54% winning percentage with the Oilers/Titans from 1994 to 2010. The NFL is setup to push all teams to middle. Even Belichick loses 1 in 3 games. Fisher is number 12 on the all time win list. I didn’t love his style of play but you don’t have that much success in the NFL if you aren’t a good coach. He’s smart enough to hire the right staff to be successful at UT.

And his winning percentage is higher than Gruden....

Springer is a player

Offense is much, much better with him in it.

The way the team played as a whole against Bama, I don’t know if him not getting hurt equals a win, but if definitely would have been closer. He’s already one of the best on the team in getting to the lane and he is good at finishing, or he can set up a shot for his teammates.

My problem with Marrone is his relationship with Fulmer. Feels like the good ole boy system. We have other coaches out there we should talk to. If we get him it’s because Fulmer knows him and that’s the way it’s going to be. Mind made up. No other candidates matter.

Our bball team is very good. But we'll need a Josh Richardson-like offensive resurgence from somebody to make a really deep run. Lots of talent on this team. Could happen. Could see Keon/Springer taking over a little bit down the road.

I hate that I’m growing to hate Fulmer.

I just don’t understand this thinking. Fulmer is doing his best, just doing a bad job. It doesn’t deserve hatred, just an issue that needs to be reconciled. Never hate a man for not having what it takes to excel at a difficult job

I have two separate wishlists depending on AD. If Fulmer is AD going forward, I want Marrone. Any other AD: Petersen, Freeeze, Campbell, Fickell, Kiffin, Napier, Herman, etc.

The sad part is we could have avoided all of this.

In early Nov. we could have pulled the plug on Pruitt and kept the investigation privately.

They could have dealt with the infractions and just reported violations as needed.

We might have missed on a few of the early signees. Oh well.

We could have then named a coach early Dec. salvage signing day and hire a staff.

Oh well.

A ten minute call to Hugh Freeze and a lovely 12.99 fruit basket from Food City and this would have never happened
