Phil and Pruitt both at fault causing long term damage to the program
Fulmer: " I would like to sit in on your meetings, practices, recruiting trips and also maybe call 2 or 3 plays."
Pruitt: "I hear you, but I would like to cheat in recruiting and still lose to Kentucky and Arkansas."

This lol. You really think an investigation has been going on for this long and the head coach has yet to be interviewed lol. The reason this is taking so long is because it has to formally revised, submitted, and presented along with the plan for self inflicting action.

I’m not sure why VQ guys keep acting like Pruitt is waiting to be brought down to the station.

That’s funny 😂

IMO - you don't pay a firm like that to wait 5 weeks to speak with the HC. Even through the holidays, there can't be that much investigation needed before you'd speak with him. I'm of the opinion there's a strategic play involved that continues to delay the timeline.

Last time we did the easy part (firing Butch) pretty easily and then botched the hiring part.

This time we can't even do the first part without turning into a joke.

They should have done what Texas did from the beginning. Release a statement right after the AM game showing full support. If you fire him later anyway, who cares? At least you don't have this giant magnifying glass on the program while you get things in order.

Thamel about to be on Finebaum talking about our drama

The only thing of note from the legal rep agreement is the date. If that was entered into in November, this thing should be nearing completion. Unfortunately, IMO, the fact that it's taken this long is a sign that the results are not favorable and all bases are being covered for a Pruitt departure. Now whether, Tennessee thinks it has legitimate grounds for a for-cause termination or is stringing Pruitt along in hopes of a settled buyout is another question.

We are a mess but the frigging media & social media keeps pouring gas on the flames too. This could’ve been handled much better on TN AD’s BOT & whoever else is involved. But that wouldn’t be the TN way
