As bad as things seem right now, I think we will have a tough time making a great hire. The more I read about Napier, the more I like him. I hope we talk to him. Freeze would probably take this even with this circus, but I can't see TN hiring him. This just feels like a Mcgoogle search coming up, and it certainly didn't have to be this way...

I read an article stating he is waiting for the right job and he wanted to be in the SEC. I would have thought AU would have checked those boxes, but apparently it didnt. That would only leave LSU, , GA, Bama and FL. TN should be on that list, but as pathetic as this investigation has been and the last 12 years, I would be surprised if we made his list.

I am pretty sure he and Satterfield both turned down SC. Not sure how far he got with Auburn. He is obviously being patient, which is a good move. They love him at ULL and he has a really good recruiting base with LA, TX and MS. He could win there for a long time
