You are what your record says you are is a lazy argument made by people who lack the ability to use cognitive analysis based on context. You are what your record says you are. You all pro-Marrone guys must but be on drugs or drinking heavily. View attachment 336995
lol whatThis is such a bullish!t take, and I’m not specifically referring to Barnes either. Every player in sport, no matter the sport, has strengths and weaknesses. Who cares if their man scores 14, who’s to say if you put somebody else on that player they won’t score 14?
This team has decencies on the offensive end of the floor. Barnes has to figure out a way to get and keep Bailey on the floor, earn that 5 million.
Whaaat? It's pretty basic concept and when applied across the board with each player it results in the best opportunity to win. You don't deal in hypotheticals about how that player might score if someone else was guarding them. We know who DID score and who was guarding them. And his defensive mistakes were mental. Bad rotations and lack of communication. That effects the entire defense not just him. Defense is played with 5 players, it's a collective effort. Especially with our scheme. The answer is not Barnes figure it out for him to stay on the floor. The answer is for VB to remain dialed-in and focused while on defense so he doesn't let his teammates down. This is such a bullish!t take, and I’m not specifically referring to Barnes either. Barnes was using 14 as an example and not a specific number. He's just trying to motivate Bailey to play better defense and not give up more points than he scores. This is such a bullish!t take, and I’m not specifically referring to Barnes either. Context is BS. Ok, well I will refrain from attempting to have any intelligent conversations with you moving forward. And as an added thought: I hope to God you are not in a position to make important decisions in your place of work.context is B/S and subjective. Wins and losses are not when you have a long track record like Marrone has. One or two years coaching is a different story.
