This team went from a final 4 team to a first 4 out.

Lot's of people touting our two 5 star guards as 1 and done . Basketball games can turn on a dime. Barnes has his work cut out for him in finding the best 8 guys and keeping that rotation. Once he gets the rotation right, they may take off again.

Really like Barnes and think he’s done a fine job here. That much isn’t debatable. With that being said, could definitely see this team getting bounced in the second round or the Sweet 16. Don’t trust him in March.

Why don't we have any shooters?

That is a good question. The team was 284th in the nation in 3 point percentage last year and gave up a lot of threes. Had a lot of long scoring droughts as well. Seems that is still an issue this year. Our guys are streaky with shooting, I guess.

Chadwell is the biggest crapshoot of any of the names being thrown around. They other names were the three finalists last go around, and the. There is Mehlzahn.

They all suck imo, and are all guaranteed fires imo except for Chadwell.

In case you didn't know it...I absolutely hate the idea of a Mehlzahn hire too...unless it is between him and Marrone..then give me Mehlzahn.

The fact that Chris Low is coming out makes me believe the foundation is being laid. And to hear him mention actual candidates is a way to test the reaction of the fanbase. I can’t argue of any other national media member more connected with UT than Chris Low.
