I’m so lost. Fill me in
Posters were saying that John Brice was DM’ing people saying that Pruitt was gone. Thread was started on VQ stating this multiple times but the VQ mods deleted them every time.
I assumed that the DM’s were new. Meaning Brice got new info and/or a recent decision was made to fire Pruitt.
Poster above posted a screenshot of a DM from Brice from before the Texas A&M game that basically said Pruitt/other coaches think that if they get blown out there is a chance they’re fired.
So it’s basically not new information at all. Unless those aren’t the DM’s the VQ people were referring to?![]()

I like Brice but yea there’s really nothing new there. Of course there was a chance they were fired at that point.Posters were saying that John Brice was DM’ing people saying that Pruitt was gone. Thread was started on VQ stating this multiple times but the VQ mods deleted them every time.

From what I've heard from local hunters here, it pretty much wiped out the population in SE Kentucky several years ago and the herd is still recovering to the levels it was before.
Search my post history if you want my answer to to the last question, but I can’t deny that Herman would be an upgrade over Pruitt. At least we’ll be used to a stubborn coach who keeps doing things that aren’t working even though everyone can see it.Convinced if we make a move on Pruitt then the next hire should be Herman. It’s a no brainer.
He’s had a few losses but they were all close. Texas hasn’t had the doors blown off on them in a few years. They even had last years LSU team (arguably a top 5 CFB team all time) on the ropes for most of the game. His worst loss as a head coach was against TCU in 2017 (24-7)
He’s also 5-0 in bowls 2 of those being New Years 6 bowl wins: 2015 a 38-24 win vs a Jimbo Fisher Florida State team in the Peach Bowl, then in 2018 against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
Won a national title in 2014 with Ohio State as the OC on his 3rd string QB
Average recruiting class ranking of around 5 while at TX, where most of the top kids in state have decided to leave more and more as of recent
Why in the world did UTjr fire this guy for Steve Sarkisian of all people![]()
Napier is my “meh” hire. And that could be totally unwarranted.
As long as I don't have to wear them, lol.Ordered a few shirts and thought you'd sponsor them...

My Napier appreciation is:
1. He’s young
2. He’s come through the ranks, with stops at successful programs like Clemson and Alabama
3. He’s an offensive guy - which IMO is a must if you’re making a hire in today’s game.
4. Originally from Tennessee, which I’d imagine would make him want to be here.
5. Has consistent success at a usually down program. They’ve improved each year he’s been there.
6. Read an article where is players raved about the guy. Think that’s important.
There are concerns, no doubt. Basically the case any time you hire a new coach. Unless it’s Saban or Urban, it’s almost a crapshoot it seems.
I’d love Kiffin. I’d love Freeze. Neither are happening.
So that I think makes Napier #1 in my book.
I would love for Bigfoot to be real, but the fact that no one has EVER found any remains makes it BS to me.I believe in the possibility of Bigfoot. I said it.
My favorite show is called “Expedition Bigfoot” and in its first season, the treked through central Oregon. They take a very scientific approach in their hunt. They use a sightings algorithm that takes cover, time of year, food source and possible migration patterns to find the perfect area. They aren’t a bunch of weirdos either. Lol... Well, this year based on all the above, they selected SE Kentucky. It’s uncanny the things that have been reported and unexplainable but one of the things is having a large deer and elk population along with the largest cave system in the world. One of the sightings told was from a hunter who noticed the feed he kept laying out that would usually last 5-7 days was gone within a day. So he and his wife decided to sit in their blind to see if the bears had come back. As dusk was approaching, his wife grabbed him by the arm unable to speak and pointed to it. 35 yards in front of him was this mammoth of a creature. You just have to watch and hear him tell it. But he was a hunter and 4 generation miner who’d lived in that area all his life. He said he was always the one making fun of people who said they saw Bigfoot but now, he’s a believer. Skeptical or not, it’s worth the watch. I find it fascinating.
