Just do something. If you're keeping him, then keep him. If not, then fire him. What they're doing leaving this in limbo is doing tons of harm to our program right now. It is detrimental to Coach Pruitt as he seeks to recruit, to sign transfers, and to hire a staff, and it's harmful to the potential new HC if we went that route. It's also embarrassing to the fanbase and players. Again. Another in a long list.

I agree with this 100%

This 100%

Yeah, I was talking more about going forward. Even this year could come into play. I mean we can only add 5 correct? What if 10 leave (doubtful, I know)? I could see some decent numbers of transfers if Pruitt is let go.
It’s not going to be the free for all that’s been sold. An Arik Gilbert, Toto or BJ Ojulari would be welcomed anywhere. Theo Flowers not so much. I’m also not buying that our OL have a blood oath of loyalty to Pruitt. Players will do what’s best for themselves and an opportunity to play usually falls in that realm.

Who said elite Hank? You said he was an average QB which is beyond stupid.
You said top tier... which i assumed includes the elites. Average QBs to me right now are like Ryan, Carr, Jimmy G, cousins, mayfield etc. some are better or worse than others. But that’s how i see them

Except Kiffin. lol
I wouldn't consider Kiffin your typical Saban disciple though. Like Sark, Kiffin was groomed early in his career by Pete Carroll, then went out on his own as a HC for a while, then was rehabbed by Saban, now is out on his own again. Relative to the length of his career he didn't work for Saban for all that long, and Kiffin doesn't have a "I'm going to do this exactly like my boss told me to" mentality...to put it mildly. It's amazing he was at Alabama for as long as he was.

I think the Sabanites that you want to stay away from are the guys that spent significant portions of their formative years under him. We've hired two of them - Dooley and Pruitt. I don't think we, or any program for that matter, should be interested in hiring guys who kind of "grew up with Saban" in effect. Those types of guys are purely Saban minions and are in those positions because they follow his exact orders in a very detailed and exact fashion. That can be a valuable skillset to have, but it isn't a head coach skillset.

Matt Ryan at 35 is 9th all time in passing yards, 10th in career passing TDs, 5th in career passing yards per game, 9th in career passing %, 9th in lowest career interception %

But that's average? GTFO @HankHill ya look foolish bro lol
Talking about today buddy. Not 6 years ago.the context of the Convo is a new coach taking over the falcons.... he’s a aging QB with a massive Cap hit.

Kiffin definitely is a saban knight. He’s a Pete carrol acorn and had 3 head coaching jobs prior to saban.

I mean he's top 10 in every major career category recorded for quarterbacks, how is that not top tier?
