This will be an issue next year, if other schools with better cultures keep some of their seniors over due to the COVID rule, and we don't because of our issues. We'll be behind in that way.

I think this contrasts pretty strongly with someone like Pruitt or Kirby, who were reared/groomed by Saban for most of their careers before going out on their own. Guys who have spent a lot of time under Saban in the formative years of their careers, especially defensive assistants, I think end up being guys who largely don't/can't think for themselves are are ill-suited to being HCs. Pruitt is the epitome of this.

he's gonna get a shot. apparently it was down to him and Rhule for the Panthers job, and Tepper just had his heart set on Rhule. but i think EB has a good rep at this point, and will get a job sooner than later.

He wasn’t doing voluntary work, he’s been paid millions. It doesn’t call for him to be Knighted.
He was a good coach, accomplished a lot and deserves credit for it.
Should of stayed retired. Since coming back has been a disaster and deserves the criticism he has received.
1 NC and a few conference titles- there’s several coaches at different schools that can claim that but I guarantee not a single one of the other fan bases have relegated them to godlike status.

Since 2012- 1 let me say that again ( 1 ) losing season. UT since 2012 -how many losing seasons?
Has it been LFL’s that bleed blue making them respectable?
UT fans need to come out from the past and worry about how we are gonna get respectable again , and not who’s a VFL and bleeds orange!

He's already interviewed with Detroit & Atlanta, Jets may want to identify a candidate that doesn't have so many options available. Texans & Jets also appear to have requested to interview him, and he could still be a candidate with the Jaguars if the Urban hire doesn't happen.

Rhule is a joke and will be fired. It’s disgusting he got the job to begin with.
