Every player and family gets worried when they hear the coach is possibly getting fired. Happens everywhere. Players and parents get worried and start posting to try to help the coach. Then fans worry that many are going to transfer. Finally, coach is fired. Players get upset but wait to see who the new hire is. New coach is hired and most stay committed and stick with the new coach. Some leave but most are never big contributors. Do not fret friends. We will be ok.
You say this after 50 pages of posts of people convinced we will never make another good hire at head coach lol.

Why not? Talk about a free pass for a few years until the violations are over and if you happen to turn around the program during that time, you wrote your check for an extension.
Chadwell’s stock shot up a lot this year. At this point I wonder if he’d be desperate enough to jump to a Tennessee program that has (or might at some future point) a mud hole stomped through it. He‘ll have numerous other opportunities.

While I see what your saying and agree with ya........... But will we really ever be ok? I mean we've been saying this for year's and we're still stuck here sayin it 12 yrs later.
Its like we haven't learned anything from the last several hires. Blow em out after a few years and start all over. Rinse ...repeat.

And to go about it the way we apparently are this time is embarrassing, and makes zero sense.

We better get our ish together. Had we pulled the trigger earlier, we wouldn’t be about to be in the same situation we were when Pruitt was hired. Competing with UF for a coach.
Technically by the time we hired Pruitt, the competition with Florida for a coach had been decided...

May be the case this time around too.. Lol

I have no source for this.
It’s just what I think we would do.

Mike Houston will be the next Head Coach of Tennessee. (Or someone similar)
