I was about to say the same thing. I would be pissed if I was a player and you just threw a game for whatever the coach was trying to prove. If was a blowout, I would mind but NFL games are hard to win and they had a chance and the coach puts in the 3rd string QB. Just BS.

What was the reason for throwing it? I don't follow the NFL anymore. I want the Titans to win because I am Tennessean, but I do not follow them.

How? Sorry I didn't watch the game. Was actually rooting for philly so a 6-10 would make the playoffs for the first time

Man I thought we were already there

Nope...it is going to slowly get worse thanks to our stupidass administration. If they don't cut Pruitt loose soon, this will be the worst offseason in my lifetime.

They put in their 3rd string QB in a 3 point game. Didn't kick a FG when they had a chance to tie, and then jumped offsides on 4th and inches. Then last play of the game instead of lateraling it around they threw a quick slant and the guy just got down without trying anything.

You don’t keep a coach and let him retool his staff if you expect to fire him soon. Thus it seems more likely CJP gets 2 more years. Hope that’s not the case.

Fulmer fighting with everything he has to keep HIS dream alive.
Spending 80% of his time at the football complex, calling recruits, setting in on coaches meetings, watching film with players—all this has been said.
1: give an unwarranted raise and extension making it harder to fire CJP if things went bad-check
2: fight like hell to get another year, knowing it would make it look even worse firing him after 1 year with all the new assistant contracts
3: betting on year 4 can’t be as bad as year 3:
Not a bad bet- 5 wins and he can claim improvement

If Phil’s influence wins this year it’s almost guaranteed 2 more years

I don’t care for any of the teams involved, but to throw a game for draft positions seems a little chicken . What does that do to the current players and their attitudes. I know they are professionals and are paid to do their jobs, but will they do their all in the future. Seems like a way to lose the players or a team.

Maybe Pruitt thought he was improving his draft position this year. Makes as much sense as any other explanation.
