Fulmer is an absolute moron as AD.

He isn't even really an AD. I think he's looked at better as a patch that came on in a pinch to complete a disastrous football coach search, and he stuck around because no solid candidates really want this job right now.

He did fire and replace the WBB coach, which at Tennessee I suppose is kind of a big deal especially considering Warlick is his friend, but that's really the only other decision of note he's made. According to many here, he had nothing to do with retaining Barnes.

Does he understand the Mullen offense? If so, he should have been here yesterday. Anything but this Chaney garbage.

He was with him at Miss St. And Johnson has been his QB coach for a while, he was the QB coach with Dak and FitzGerald. He was the OC at Houston for one season when they had King and Kyle Allen then went to UF with Mullen. He was the QB for Utah when they beat Bama in that Sugar Bowl.

Just a thought ... if CJP is kept, and Chaney is replaced ... how bout Chadwell for OC? It'd be a big pay raise (think he's around 400,000 right now at CCU), he's from the area, and maybe he'd bring his QB Grayson McCall with him.

Probably not a popular thing to state here, but it could be interesting.
CCU has been fun to watch this year.

Chadwell is not leaving a head coaching position where his program was just ranked twelfth in the country to be an OC here. Lol.

And that's all that should matter. But people want to be positive and I understand it but at some point a duck is a duck. Being a certain something means nothing if he isn't a head coach and CEO. PERIOD

I am usually very positive . Pruitt has made football very unenjoyable.

I'm done discussing it, but it was about what Mullen inherited. I'm not a huge Grantham fan, so I don't think he magically made everyone better. The point was that he inherited some elite talent. Mullen continued to play Franks until he broke his ankle and was forced to play Trask.

UF not being in the "best" shape is better than about 90% of all other schools. They can get talent anytime, and that's why Mullen wanted to go there because recruiting isn't his strong suit.

And my point was a lot of that elite talent was developed under Mullen. Frank’s looked like the worst SEC QB under Mac, under Mullen he wasn’t bad. The RB’s the O-Line improved, the WR’s actually developed under Mullen. The defense wasn’t even top 50 Mac’s last year. The senior class Mullen took over was ranked 25 it. Ivey and Cece Jefferson and the rest were average or trash other than Calloway that went pro after his junior year. And Cece didn’t live up to the hype

It’s easy to look at them after 3 years of Mullen and say “yea these players were elite”

Where? Outside of SC there aren’t any you can circle as wins other than the OOC other than Pitt IMO. Hell they might beat Tennessee it’s always a guess at this point

Almost every team gives some sort of "reward" for a turnover now. That sword was about a gazillion times better than that freaking trashcan.

I can't say that I'm confident with anything, and our admin has problems. But, I won't throw my orange away.

Yea it’s more of just a historically unlikely scenario imo but also Pruitt has not shown that he is very good at DL/edge recruiting so far. A lot of meh/nothing so far. There is some potential tho. I wish crouch would go back to DL

That would be nice. Hopefully French steps up and takes the spot beside HT next year.

Ffs, nobody knows if any of that crap is true. People learned absolutely nothing last time we did a coaching search.

Then we flood everybody in the UT administration...hell Butch deserved another year, more than Pruitt does. At the end of the day it’s all about wins and it’s clear Pruitts not a winner.

I feel like that what our outlook this season. "5-5 would be acceptable if we play really close games". Instead we went 3-7 and looked AWFUL in our losses...and he is going to return?! 2 losing seasons in 3 years...really? Wtf??

I went into the covid season feeling this was a throw away due to our insane contact tracing policies compared to other schools...my opinion is that he won’t be able to correct it so I am ready to replace him and move in..... if they choose to bring him back, I will support him and base my opinion by what the team looks like on the field in 2021.

I’m so tired of hearing this lie. AP is an idiot and a mouth piece. Recruiting is hurting because we are getting blown out every week and we won three games. Development is terrible and we aren’t drafting anyone. Everyone who is getting drafted were Butch players. Too Too, Thompson, Morris, and Gray are probably the only draft able players that were recruited by Pruitt. Recruiting sucks because Pruitt sucks.

Disagree. Pruitt's first full class are sophomores. We have barely seen what the freshmen can do. To say that those few are the only draft able players is very foolish. 2020 class was loaded with a lot of good players. We'll see if they're developed. But that's a very shortsighted comment.
