Yes. 100% a coincidence. I don't want him here either, but Pruitt isn't getting fired. No sense in pushing a bunch of false hope imo.

To be fair to AV, he would also come in and hint that Pruitt is back if it was the case as well.

We as a program are allotted 85 total scholarships a year, but can only bring in a 25 max per recruiting class. Quality of the player leaving isn't the issue, it's the fact we just lost 11 scholarship athletes. "Misses" basically excluding Brandon Johnson, JG, & Deandre Johnson (they had production and are grad transfers at least).

inside, we just have to make more shots. we've gotten a lot of really great looks and just missed the dang bucket too much.

the offense will come, hopefully, and i'm glad we got a couple of games under our belt where they saw shots drop like they did against USC upstate and tech.....just need a little confidence in the shot, i think.

still, i expect this game to be a white knuckle game....so sit back, relax and save the angst for that last 3 minutes, where i expect it will still be w/in 3 possessions, either way.

I don't think we have to hit a bunch of threes either but we have to show we can. We've struggled a little against the zone so we have to hit enough to discourage them from packing it in.

BUTCH JONES had us going down to the wire with two playoff teams in year 3 and a top 10 team going into year 4. Mullen has had back to back 10 win top 10 seasons and just won the East in year 3. Kirby Smart had UGA in the NC game in year 2. Jimbo has A&M at #5 and only loss to Bama in year 3. Freeze had a 10 win season in year 3 and beat Bama at OLE MISS. Mullen had a 9 win season and finished top 15 in year 2 at MSU. Saban won the SEC and beat UT in year two at Lsu. We all know what he did at Bama.

Theres plenty of examples. To act like wanting to go better than 3-7 and getting blown out with anyone with a pulse in year 3 is ****ing ridiculous

All these transfers remind me of the coaches bailing on Dooley after the 2011 season. Yet, we still kept him and look where that got us.

yes we have, and that's the one thing that will worry me if we don't rebound well on the defensive end, or don't force some turnovers to get teams out of that....

which is why i think we're going to really try and get things inside the arc for higher % jump shots, and try to get fulky, pons, nkomwe (sp?) involved around the rim.....

no clue how we try to get springer and keon involved....but i bet they both play a factor...one way or the other...before the game is over.
