Where is Sark currently? He's been redeemed by Lord Saban.

Lol. He’s been there a total of like 3 years out of a +20 year career. The whole “No more Saban disciples” BS is a completely irrational criteria for choosing a coach, especially when it applies to someone that has spent approximately 15% of their career there.

10 wins at Kentucky is mediocre?
Okay. He had one 10 win season in 7 years.

He averages 6 wins a year. It took him 3 years to have a winning season yet he's going to get us to 10 wins faster than anyone else. Somehow.

It took him all that time to build the program yet they still haven't found a QB that can throw a forward pass.

Pruitt can average 6 wins a year with one 10 win season per decade. Zero doubt. Seems like a waste of money to go get someone else to do it.

If CJP stays we are gonna suck for the foreseeable future. If he goes and we bring in some one else we are still gonna suck for the foreseeable future.

Basically with the state the program is in, we are gonna suck for the foreseeable future.

I’ll be a casual fan until I die, but I’m writing off planning my Saturdays around football for awhile. I would suggest others do as well for mental health sake. It’s like losing a friend and it is depressing, but continuing to watch the weekly beat downs isn’t good for my health anymore and I’m over watching Bama and Clemson win national championships.

7-win Sark at Washington where when he took over they were 0-12 the season prior and hadn’t won 7 games in 6 years.

Gus took over a program that won a NC 3 years prior.

Those are not the same.
Auburn had gone 3-9 the year before Gus got there. He took them from worst to first. To me that is more impressive than slipping past the likes of Oregon State and Arizona but you know what they say about opinions.

Expectations aren't lower here. We just hired a guy and everyone acknowledged we were a dumpster fire and needed a talent overhaul. Everyone acknowledged it was a 4-5 year rebuild.

Yet after year three we're trying to run the coach off.

Tennessee fans are delusional with their expectations. If anything, expectations are ridiculously high here.

5 year rebuild, yes. But progress should at least be evident by year 3.

It’s..... Kentucky lol.

After listening to Freeze on a radio interview just a minute ago, just doesn’t sound like there is anyway that he has had any serious discussion with UT.....or anyone else.
People shouldn’t find this surprising. UT won’t do a damn thing. And IF they do pull a unicorn outta their butt and fire Pruitt it won’t be for anybody that will do substantially better.

No more Bama assistants. Unless they go somewhere else before they come here. Please and Thank ya.
Sark wasn’t groomed under Saban, he was groomed under Carroll, he was brought in to bring the high profile USC offense to Bama when Kiffen left. Sark would probably do well here with his connections to the West Coast.

There’s a big difference between being one of Saban’s guys and beings a paid assassin. IMO

Rebuilds don’t take 4-5 years anymore. Especially at established programs. The problem was not taking the next step and regressing in year 3 and even more throughout the season. He went 8-5 and shoulda gone 9-3 in the regular season in year 2. He went 3-7 this year and blown out by anyone with a pulse and he’s lucky he played Mizzou week two instead of in November like we usually do

Definitely not UT. They aren't going to hire a new coach. It's pretty simple and very obvious.
It's becoming more and more obvious by the day that the mention of the internal investigation was done by someone (perhaps within the AD itself) to increase the heat on Pruitt and an attempt to force their hand to do something they otherwise wouldn't have. I think it's possible that someone in there knew that the AD wasn't going to can him, but they wanted him canned, so they chose to leak a mention of an internal investigation to the media. If Pruitt went 7-3 this year instead of 3-7, this internal investigation report never sees the light of day.

It actually did seem there for a second that Pruitt was done, but it had no legs. At this point, I have oscillated back to being surprised if they fired him.

I have to be honest, while watching the Liberty vs CCU game, I had Butch flashbacks when they brought out the sword after a turnover. Made me pause on Chadwell. I don’t think I can take that corny s*** again.
Almost every team gives some sort of "reward" for a turnover now. That sword was about a gazillion times better than that freaking trashcan.

A NC they won because of him and they went 3-9 the year before Gus took over

it is a big game. looking forward to it. i expect it to be a little slow/sloppy to start....but they get in to a flow and ultimately wear them down w/defense that turns in to offense....could see a 72-65ish type game regardless of who wins, and i'd be a little surprised if it was a higher scoring affair than that...
My biggest cause of concern is that Mizzou is a little bit more battle tested than our Vols. How do these freshmen respond to a little adversity? I think having very few fans in the stands helps. We need to hit the long ball consistently.
