It’s definitely it’s own thing. The intros to the episodes are outstanding and when they rip each other it’s some of the best dialogue I’ve heard.

The night charge nurse i work with is from Listowel, the town Letterkenny is based on. His younger sister went to high school with Jared Keeso. He said basically everything in the show is true. Of course it’s over exaggerated for comedy. The hockey stuff he said was the most spot on.

If you do start it, don't give up during the 3rd episode, just power through it. The rest is good.
