What high school player in his right mind would come to Tennessee and not be developed? I am sure other schools are using this while recruiting kids considering Tennessee. Give me five players under Pruitt that have been developed and make you say wow, that kid has really improved since he got here.

It's relative. If the player we are losing is one of our best, it doesn't matter if he's the caliber player we wish we had. We get worse when we lose our above average players, mathematically speaking anyway.

/ late 60’s....all three of this coaches have won Super Bowls as well..... we are ran more like the lions or the football team in Washington..... throwing darts against the wall every few years hoping it will be better....I’m not saying not to bring in Reese but it needs to be seriously vetted to make sure it will work.

They had talent left over when he was let go. Starters departed to Florida, Michigan etc. Luke actually won games his first season with the residuals. The Woody Hayes, Bear Bryant Joe Paterno et al long term college tenure are mostly antiquated fantasies. Nick Saban’s an outlier. So pining for the outliers in NFL stable franchises seems like an exercise doomed for failure in itself. I’ll do the baby steps of hiring a coach who can win 10 games at every stop in his career who also doesn’t defeat himself on the field

He is not that good imo..... we have Joseph, Baron, the Memphis kid..... plus brooks coming in that have the potential to be better than what we had starting this year.

Best pass rusher kicked off the team for drugs.
Blocking TE is in transfer portal after missing year with injuries.
QB universally hated by the fanbase is gone.

Yeah we don't want attrition and I wish Bennett, Pope, and Shrout were still on the team.

Good Riddance to Johnson and JG.
