I mean the termination part is the only part of this scenario we've ever really been successful at in over 2 decades. Choose to believe if you want but I don't see us making a a great hire even if we do.

Timelines generally come into play when terminating by a specific date is tied to contractual obligations. That isn't the case here. IDT a rigid timeline has ever been part of this, other than allowing the investigation to play out and having all findings in hand.

Thanks, I thought there may have been some contractual obligations ready to expire by the year-end for Pruitt and staff. I made the wrong assumptions.

I think you have to view fulmer as a coach and not as a AD. I think it’s clear that fulmer despises ADs making such statements. I think he knows how much backlash it will cause and won’t do it.
We will just see a new assistant hire and know he’s coming back

He has sent out letters/ emails every couple months about the state of the football program as well as our other programs

We won a national championship with him starting every game as QB. That does not equal mediocre, ever. We went 13-0. He made plays that put helped us win it. Not sure why this is so hard for so many of you.

Because I watched him play..and got lockdown from grinding my teeth so hard over his play in a lot of games..that's why.

Plus...I didn't say he was a bad QB, I said he was mediocre, and that was all that team really needed...hell Crappabama won a crap ton of NCs the last ten years with good, serviceable, yet mediocre QBs...there is nothing wrong with saying that.

Correct, Tee could do just enough passing and just enough with his legs to win while leaning heavily on a great defense and run game.

The law of averages has to be on our side when it comes to choosing the right coach and the best part is if we did it this year we are not competing with a Texas or Michigan

Not really, we ve hired 4 coaches since 2009.

Kiffin left for another job
Dooley failed
Jones failed
And to this point, Pruitt has failed
3 of the 4 left the program and roster in the ditch. The 4th is tbd.

And Im not one to believe there's only 1 guy out there that can succeed here. We either dont attempt to hire anyone in that group, or they figure out they dont want the job for various reasons and we end up with somebody that would have never been considered for the job.

UT hasnt done anything that tells me thats going to change if Pruitt is fired. It will make a lot of fans happy until the replacement is named. Until further notice UT doesnt have a firing problem, it has a hiring problem.

Just got my first dose of the vaccine. They talked me into it. Figured the govt. would make it mandatory soon.

I got the vaccine then tested positive for covid the next day cause that’s my luck lol
but I did have extremely mild symptoms that were gone in a couple of days. I’m guessing the vaccine must’ve helped a little.
