It would be mutual. Tee's contract is up, and the paycut issue has caused a lot of friction within the staff. Fences aren't mending.

Why do they expect things to mend next year? It's insanity. No one likes Pruitt except Friend and Phil, and Friend is gone! He's digging us in a deeper hole and everyone knows it. No one worth a damn will come here and work under Pruitt to fill the position coaches vacancy when he's a known jerk and micromanager who won't even be here in 22.

We lost to BYU and Georgia State. That win streak last year was fools gold. Who did we beat of significance?
i've already stated my opinion on pruitt and what i think should happen.

but one streak is fools gold, the other CAN'T be? we can come up with all the reasons under the sun why that win streak didn't matter, and explain it away as not meaningful.

but we can't come up with any legitimate reasons on how/why we lost this year, o/t pruitt sucks at everything? really? like it or not, there are actual, legitimate reasons that we lost. there were a bevvy of issues that affected this team and how it was UNABLE to develop the way pruitt and the staff wanted/intended it to.

people fit facts to fit their narrative. the sooner folks realize that, and decide for themselves, the better. i've seen things twisted around the past two weeks that were things he was praised for just a few months ago, that now are reasons he should be fired.

if you have to make stuff up to support firing pruitt, then your case isn't very strong.

the reality is, NOTHING needs to be embellished here. there's nothing you need to make up or twist around to come to the conclusion that he should probably be fired.

siap the easiest thing we could do here is fire jeremy pruitt. and it requires ZERO revisionist history to get there.

It’s year 3... whose fault is that???
It’s also just false. They try this sh*t everywhere until you get guys like Darrell Taylor drafted in the 2nd round, Trey will probably be a 10 year starter, kyle, shy, Calloway etc.

Did they watch Florida or LSU defense this year???? You don’t think they could’ve used a couple pieces from our defense? Lol

Has AV said Pruitt is out? He and LWS are the only 2 imo. If AV keeps vouching for Beaver's cred then I'm going to knock that number back down to 1.
I'm pretty sure AV said he was with Bob on Pruitt being gone. I'd have to look it back up. I'm not doubting AV doesn't know some things, but he has been wrong as much as he is right. Js

Can you elaborate on some of this ? You would think that these guys would be willing to work together to put a better product on the field because the better the product, the better the prestige and everything that goes along with that. Unfortunately, this reeks of Pruitt of being unable to lead and delegate properly. I imagine that his stubbornness and lack of experience has caused a great deal of these issues. If he stays, is there any way that he will be forced to allow his assistants do their jobs. You would think that Phil, whose greatest success came when he let Cut and Chief do their things would be influencing him to let his assistants do their jobs. It doesn’t sound like that‘s the case.

The issue starts at the top, but there needs to be accountability and commitment top to bottom. The coaches that don't want to be at UT need to leave UT, and UT needs to cut loose the guys who can't or won't work together to fix this mess. If coaches aren't pulling together and giving their all, that tells players they can do the same-- and that becomes the culture.

I don’t care whether anyone believes me. Pruitt will be gone. I haven’t called for his head. I’ve gone back and forth on what I think is the right call because I have no faith in them making a good hire. This will be my last post until all of this is over. Merry Christmas everyone. I’ll catch up with y’all after the New Year when the search starts.

I'm in Bob's corner.

If you really believe Skoal Can is capable of winning 8-9 games next year, then all I can say is wow......

Just when you think beating our chests over a Vandy win wasn’t enough.

I hate to say it, but he could win 8. 4 wins are almost guaranteed. Maybe we don't crap the bed against Kentucky, Missouri, and USC. Get lucky and upset another team. It's possible, but I think it's more likely he does crap the bed against those 3.

nothing is guaranteed, everyone here knows that

Could be a big reason why we’ll see a renewed focus on in-state recruiting. And apparently that’s part of JP’s pitch for next year?

But if you mix a bunch more TN kids in with the ‘20 class then you have a nucleus on the team that cares about UT. Or I’m assuming that’s what they’re hoping for, at least.

One of the complaints has been that Fulmer has not stayed in his lane either
