Wow, all that hate for Tee. He did bring us a National Championship and all, show him some respect. Same people posting negatively about Tee would probably tear me apart if I posted same kind of negative posts about Peyton.

I 100% respect what he did as a player, but he’s been mediocre as a coach at Tennessee.

VQ was pretty early on saying Bo Davis would be the DL coach. The fact that he is looking at other possibilities tells me that either Davis isn't as buddy buddy to Pruitt as once thought or he knows Pruitt isn't long for UT and he should consider other options.

Yeah there was rumors about that but nothing overly substantiated that turned fans against him...... Peyton is the greatest QB in our schools history..... Tee just wasn’t close to that level even though he won a championship..... Neither was my favorite..... I am a huge Tony Robinson fan and he is my favorite of all time.

Or the situations at ole Miss and LSU are way better for potential long term employment vs being a possible 1 year rental for a coach that has now less than a year to pull off a major turnaround.

I see merit in allowing staff changes. But not in a 1 year all or nothing situation.

And if you keep Pruitt there's no way next year isn't a 'prove it'year.

We're in a tight spot again, and in reality it makes the most sense to reboot this thing again.

Otherwise.... You're almost committing to Pruitt for multiple years regardless of outcome. And that's just not doable.

So... He's got to go. And the reason for the tight lips and conflicting rumors is hopefully because the ones actually making the decisions are busy behind the scenes.

I'll still have to see it to believe it tho.

I loved Tony Robinson, not my favorite, but neither were Peyton or Tee. I think a lot of people don’t like Tee because they think he basically rode Peyton’s coat tails and then won Peytons championship. Idk, don’t care just happy that Lady Luck was on our side that season and helped us to a Championship. I have a lot of respect for both of them because of their contributions to our history, I just get offended when people don’t show respect for our former players and coaches. I feel like we are entitled to criticize, but that criticism shouldn’t be dripping with hate for former players.

Point is there isn't any cherries. Where's the development ? They all need to go. Clean house and as you say things can get worse but they also can get better.

Never said it did, you can still criticize and be respectful. I don’t think he is the best coach ever, but I can criticize without spewing hatred at a VFL.

Has Tee's unit been ELITE, no but its been decent and shown flashes. I don't think its fair to put 100% of the blame at that position on the coaches considering how the QB's have been handled.
