You realize my argument was based on year 4 right? The year we’re talking about fan attendance for? That would be two consecutive poor seasons and in a year without Covid (God willing). If you can’t see how that’s a different situation then I can’t help you, because right now there’s obviously questions about whether or not to fire him but in my given situation there would be no discussion about it and the fan attendance would not be the reason why.Buddy if what you are saying is true then why have we not fired a 3-7 coach already, you are not making any sense in your argument...
I think they will. I don't think the SEC will right away but they'll follow suit eventually....if the rule passes in January, sure he could go out of the SEC. Though I think they will pass it, they have tabled it before.
But I was replying to someone talking intraconference transfer. I'm skeptical the SEC ever allows it long-term.
To a degree sure, but imo the only reason they did that was because Phil knew he had a HC that was in over his head. Mullen back in the last coaching search is the best example I can give. Reports were TN was thinking about giving a similar offer to what UF was willing to offer. TN has to understand 2 things 1) UF is where he wins to be, so just matching their offer isn't good enough. 2) TN doesn't have all the advantages that other schools have and because of that you may need to offer a bit more. So instead of going on a wild goose chase, if Currie offered 7.5-8 Mullen would've been in Knoxville for at least a year.I don’t think that’s true.....I think it was two years ago where I saw we had top 5 pay for our assistant coaches in the country..... there aren’t many coaches that will come any more just bc you break the bank for them.... every team is willing to pay more for their coaches...... the three most prevalent names mentioned here are not coaches that we would have to break the bank for..... freeze, Napier, chadwell.
