Those hoping Campbell, Napier and Chadwell can do this are going to be disappointed when we’re back in the same spot in 3 years wanting that true HOMERUN coach. None of them can compete with/overtake Mullen and Smart. Might as well reserve your 3rd place in line.

Freeze is just as much as a gamble as those three. There are no surefire homeruns that want this job. IF Pruitt is fired, we just have to pray that whoever the hire is works out.

Exactly. So there is basically one coach. ONE. So we are screwed. That’s why you have to roll the dice on a guy like Campbell.

I understand, but the discussion seems to always start and end with the scheme with him.

I'm more concerned with the fact that the guy has lost a lot of games in every coaching stop he has made. I think South Carolina could have easily hired him and they hard passed.

Not sure how you know that, but what I've read was that Freeze turned them down (back channels) - course I have no idea if true or not.
