How does that happen? Kids can’t buy clothes themselves...... my son knows he is vol fan only! One of my friends i grew up with sent me a pic of his son this morning. He had all Clemson apparel on. My friend, his family and his wife's family are all long time UT fans. But, this is what happens when UT gives the younger generation nothing to cheer on. I'm 36, not old.
That's the next step. And my greatest fear. My daughter even said one day if she cared anything about football she would probably be a Florida fan because they are more exciting. So the point I am trying to make is this dedicated, amazing, awesome fanbase that recruits used to talk about all the time is gradually becoming apathetic and slowly becoming like other ordinary fanbases that are only slightly involved emotionally. Like the one poster said...take your kid to the game for the experience like going to a carnival or something. Yeah, there are still those of us that are true solid "I bleed orange" until I die fans, but it's taking a toll on us. And I absolutely hate it.Two things you said separated this from what others are claiming. You said we're becoming apathetic. I agree. Then you said your son would probably still say he's a fan. That's the difference to me; still a fan. Some are proudly claiming to no longer be fans.

Of course they know that. It still doesn't make any of the people making the ugly comments less of an a-hole for making them.I mean...if you are related to a coach at a major university you know you will receive criticism, just one of the byproducts of the job, if you can’t handle it then dont get on social mediaIt’s the same thing with injuries, it’s just part of the risk you take when you sign up for it
If anyone was paying up we’d have a coach. No one is stepping up. When they do we will have one. That has nothing to do with Fulmer. It really is that simple. We hear a lot of talk but unless we are waiting on the holidays no one is willing to put it on the line. Fulmer is irrelevant in that regard and that’s also a problem because we operate so dysfunctionally with regards to ADs and everything else if we are honest.
