I remember when FSU was dead, I know close again. I also remember when Virginia Tech was nothing. It can be done at smaller schools.

How much was the salary? Every coach has an out to their contract Lane Kiffin had one for USC. Bet Chadwell has one too.

I don’t think Pruitt is going anywhere, anyway that’s not my call, Jamey Chadwell a local guy, played at Anderson County(I believe) and at ETSU. Runs a great offense, seems like he could energize the program and as much as anyone unite the fan base. Like the Pruitt situation, It’s not my call but he is a very good coach and UT could ans has done a lot worse.

I like Chadwell...He wuld be a darkhorse hire that could do well or totally tank in the SEC...His offense is exciting for sure and hard to defend...BUT...He has had issues with the NCAA as well so that might scare off the powers that be.

Chadwell would be really good. He seems genuine and he’s from the area, but you know who’s better that also has NCAA baggage? Hugh Freeze. You know where we’ve been terrible recruiting? The Memphis area. Do you know who’s had success there? Hugh Freeze. If they don’t fire Pruitt now it’s going to turn into Butch Jones circa 2017 and it might actually be worse. Never been a head coach at a major school, has previously been investigated by the ncaa and runs a very complicated offense

Chadwell would likely not make it in the SEC. He plays literally nobody. Yeah his offense seems exciting but the competition he plays against makes It look better than not actually is.

I also like Chadwell. He’s got fire. Plus, he beat a team this year we couldn’t beat last year with 1/2 star recruits. He might not be a big name coach but he would definitely be an upgrade from Pruitt. And he’s a TN guy

People said the same about Urban Meyer, until he got SEC athletes inserted into that offense.

You just can't gloss over that..

People really need to stop letting NCAA investigations scare them away... really. Saban, Mullen, Smart and now Pruitt all were investigated. Kiffin, Freeze, Jones... this list goes on and on. Ignore it.

when we do make a new Hire this year or next if the pull of coaches is up and coming coaches then Billy Napier will get this job. He has learned from the best in Saban and Dabo and he is very successful as a head coach. Went to Iowa St beat Campbell not with offense but with Defense and Special Teams and he is a Offensive Coach. And he is also from Cookeville so growing up and appreciating how special this place is gold. In CHRIST Alone.

And as far as them "Not beating anybody "

They've beaten a top 15 BYU that was undefeated. A far better BYU than the Tennessee lost too.
And they beat a top 15 Louisiana team that beat Iowa State. They beat a top 25 App State...

We lost to Kentucky at home....
Ga State at home...
He best Ga State by 50!

He did this with a far less talented roster than the one Pruitt has.

You just don't want Chadwell because of history. Just say that. Don't make up other dumb excuses like "Coastal doesn't play anybody ".

Come on man...

That's fair.

Im not really sure his methods of motivation can be maintained over a long period of time.
But his teams ARE motivated. And that can get you a long ways. And he can coach on the field in game.

I don't think Butch Jones, Derek Dooley, Jeremy Pruitt, or Phillip Fulmer go undefeated at Coastal Carolina. Consider that.
