Color me surprised that Auburn is not going after Freeze. I don't buy that they just aren't interested in him. Makes me wonder if he told them he's not interested. Auburn is not above hiring Freeze. Give me a break. I hope they let him go and we can capitalize. If he really does want to be here I hope we give him a chance and at least talk to him.

I could see Auburn naming Steele as head coach but then bringing in Art Briles as OC. He just left his job and everybody is assuming he's replacing Freeze at Liberty, but what if he's headed to Auburn? I think you could sell that to Auburn fans. They would score tons of points and probably avoid a drop off on defense. Steele could be a good hire if he gets the right OC. You also don't take as much heat naming Briles OC as opposed to head coach. He just wants back in college football. Auburn would put him on a huge stage and could be similar to Kiffins comeback that started at Bama. They could promote him to head coach in a few years or around the time Saban walks away. They could set themselves up for a great run when that happens.

That's my prediction for the night.

Freeze to Tennessee with Mason as DC.

Steele to Auburn with Briles as OC.
Makes sense. Steele will come on the cheap so they can afford to pay Briles handsomely to be the OC.

I could see the logic of doing what Arkansas did with the right assistants while wanting someone who could score a lot on AL like LK did.

A few folks on non state run radio have eluded to something really bad happening over the summer and that Fulmer didn't want it to come out. I have no idea if that's true or not
Atl. Alluded to something back a couple months ago as well. He said its better left unsaid and if it got out it could hurt us down the road not just the current admin

We're all watching you friend. Now's your chance to step out of the shadows and become the VN LEGEND you were born to be. When we're 6 years down the road, and we're celebrating our 3rd SEC Championship and our 2nd National Championship and we start looking back on the great coaching search of 2020 and the name @ob79 keeps getting mentioned as "the king of the insides", just think how proud you will be.

Just imagine:

AV
Skeeter
LWS
Orange Venom
Deerpark

And the king
@ob79

You gave us a hint about the date *🎄, now how about a little hint on the name(s)?

You forgot MIT

So here's where I believe this thing is at and this is just me reading the tea leaves.

1. The Boosters or Booster has identified a pretty strong candidate.
2. Randy Boyd is on board so likewise is Fulmer because he has no choice.
3. Boyd has told the Boosters/ Booster if you can get him wrapped up this week we will fire him Sunday if not then he's back for another year.

From VQ:

“Brett “Stats” Norsworthy is an Ole Miss sideline reporter and on Sports56 in Memphis.

Confirmed that UT has always been Hugh’s school, even growing up. Said ESPN tried to do a story during one of their games on Freeze and asked/search for Hugh wearing Ole Miss stuff early in his childhood/youth since he grew up in North Mississippi, except there wasn’t any because all they found was pics of him in Vol gear.

Bring him, he truly has wanted to be here his whole life.”

Bring Hugh home.
Oh my god

Just like last time. Boosters working behind the scenes. They have their guy committed. Big battle among the money people and BOT. Gruden wrapped up, ready to go and out walks Jeremy Pruitt in the end. Pruitt will likely be here next year unless there have been significant violations made. It's the same, every time. Wash, rinse, repeat.
