“Fulmer will do what the power brokers tell him to do. It is out of his hands now. This one has gone from a slam dunk he returns to at best a 50/50 proposition. It isnt just the team's performance and his very questionable game management decisions There is a lot going on internally the power brokers are learning about. This past weekend was not a good one for CJP sans three hours on Saturday afternoon”
Which thread? Haven't seen that post.

I like the sound of that. A 50-17 beat down this weekend ain’t going to help him either

It truly is amazing how so many fanbases think the same things. Not just CFB, it's basically universal in fandom. I've seen epic rants about leadership and paranoia about refs and I could have sworn it was an SEC fan, yet it was a Premiere League soccer fan.

I guess that comes with the territory in zero-sum games.
Agreed

If you feel worse you need to push them even if you don't have a cough. I mentioned the idiopathic cardiomyopathy from back when we were in grad school earlier because of the Florida player... Before we went to the hospital, I had webMD'd the OH down to either walking pneumonia or heart failure and we joked with the docs about it who then told me straight out that it wouldn't be heart failure because he was too young. They were wrong. When you're young or look young a lot of folks automatically assume that you're in better health or that you'll be fine but this ish is nothing to play around with even for younger adults.

This “insider” crap gets so old. The fans are all about every coach we have, and they’re beloved throughout the entire program until the fan base decides they’re ready to get rid of him (usually within an average of 4 years). Then, those same things that person did that were so beloved are now repugnant and worthy of firing. Also, inevitably we get “insiders” then talking about all of the bad things going on in the program. Then, the coach finally gets fired and the fan base convinces itself that the new guy will be some “home run” only to find out there are only about 3-4 guys at a give. Time who are home runs...and they all have jobs where they’re happy. So, you end up hiring a coordinator, a group of 5 guy or a retread. Then, the fan base convinces themselves that everything that guy does is great and bashes the last guy. Rinse and repeat.

If it really is out of Phil's hands, and up to the power brokers and its an internal issue. Pruitt has done something big to piss someone off. Or gotten caught for some shady recruiting stuff.
