Pruitt's defense is nowhere close to being a bad defense. We have an average defense in the SEC. 2nd tier but not awful.

Must be the pick sixes and fumbles attributed more to the streak of double digit losses. I imagine the defense was also worn out and discouraged. All of which is on him for being hardheaded and starting a great young man in JG who just didn't have it.

The pressure is mounting on Fulmer and other universities are making this one look like a incompetent fool not serious about winning!...We have been told all year no moves would be made because of a covid year but yet other universities are making those same moves...we’ve got the money.it’s time.our hand is being called.

wasn’t potential heart issues resulting from having covid the reason the big10 initially said no football??
One of yes. However there are two other issues that may have caused this as well. Some are saying this could be similar to what happened to Hank Gathers. Pistol Pete as well.
It could be something like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is inherited and causes the heart to thicken without cause. Or it could've been a pulmonary embolism, which could be traced back to COVID since one of the side effects, is the blood is left in a thickened state, which makes it more likely to clot. Facts are though we don't know and we may never know.

Read his UT bio. It specifically mentions it.

His UT bio has one sentence that he "specialized" in linebackers under Pruitt.

But I said anything officially released by Alabama. With how much of a control freak Pruitt has shown to be here I really doubt a GA did much of anything except hold the pads during drills anyway.

From a poster on VQ on Freeze

I'm encouraged by what I'm hearing and who it's coming from...Air attack offense is in our near future. Just read this post and go about your day.

It’s happening!!!

From a poster on VN on Freeze:

Freeze to Tennessee is not happening. Enjoy the rest of your day.

How is anyone confident Pruitt won’t meddle with new coaches, especially on offense? He openly admitted at today’s press conference he told Jim to run the trick play that went for about a 10 yard loss.
Lol he said the play was intended for Brian Maurer to run but he got hurt so they let Shrout run it and it failed because he hadn't really practiced it..........

Pruitt is a real treat

Thanks

It’s sad either way and I didn’t mean to marginalize it regarding Covid.
Just worried that covid has more issues than we know About and what that might mean going forward

Every head coach does this. At least he took ownership for the ****up and didn’t leave his OC to get thumped by the bus. Are you also pissed that he has called for two successful fake punts in recent weeks?

Pruitt is going to step down as HC and continue as DC. Lane is being hired to run our offense because they really developed a bond while at Bama. Both approach their side of the ball the same and Phil feels like it would work. Pruitt will be allowed to pick/keep his defensive staff and will be assistant HC. He actually feels relieved and looks forward to sliding back into the role he likes most.

Book it.
@BassmasterVol share this on TOS and see what happens.

***, blinded by hate.

What hate? Nieds until this year never coached on the defensive side of the ball.

Him helping out as a Graduate Assistant for a season doesn't change that he was never an on the field positional coach on defense before this year. Ya'll spew BS like it's the gospel, oblivious to the fact the internet contains all the information to confirm or refute your points.

First on the field coaching job for Nieds on defense was this year, even his bio confirms that. I've worked within a D1 school program before I know exactly what GAs are tasked with.
