Yup he's set for 4 years. That said, he has no mitigation clause, so he could just receive double checks too.

If he's not coaching next season is he worth waiting on?

I feel like we need to move on from JP next week but what happens if we don't? More heartache and misery. Should we try and bring in an OC that could possibly get promoted to HC if JP fails next year.

If we beat aTm with mostly sophomores and freshmen playing next week, do we give JP another year? I don't know.

I still choose to believe Pruitt steps down/fired after the aTm game and we have another coach already lined up.

Pruitt gets fired and Fulmer hires Bobo on the cheap. He then retains Will Friend and names him his OC. We become CSU East. Fulmer touts Bobo and how hard his offenses were to scheme against while he was OC at Georgia.

I don't get it. He's being fired from Auburn, what would he do differently here? It's not like he was winning 8 or 9 games at a nothing program that is tough to recruit (that would be Freeze). And he can barely break even against Pruitt (both games at home) despite his program having 5 years on Pruitt's.

Gus was at a destination job. And he’s being fired. Freeze took freaking Ole Miss to new heights. He had Liberty at 7-1. Liberty! I’d put money on his Liberty team beating Gus this year. Gus should get the job at Vandy, not UT. It’s crazy to think he’s outdo what he did at AU at UT

I was talking more results wise, but okay, we can run with it however you want. And to say Freeze took OM to new heights is to ignore the success Cutcliffe had there.

Liberty has played the 108th hardest schedule in the country this year. Their opponents combined record is 22-58 and half the teams they played didn't even win a game this year. Liberty being 7-1 isn't really that impressive.
