It's HB guys. It's always been HB and its always been about the QB. It's just Vandy, but you can immediately see the difference. Will build his confidence for a real opponent next week.

He read the corner blitz and threw to the open area and Jones. He fakes well on play action and knows where to put the ball with quick decision. His reads D's and coverages much faster than #2 with his 5 seasons of experience. Chaney can open the playbook more than they have since Jeremy arrived.

I don't dislike the Fuller/female stuff, but it bothers me that she gets to be the first when she didn't earn it. There will be a female some day who actually beat out other qualified male kickers and earned a scholarship by working hard and natural ability, but that female won't be the first because COVID prohibited Vandy from finding a qualified replacement. She isn't actually good enough to be an SEC kicker under normal circumstances, but some female someday will be, and she'll just be the 2nd. Not that big a deal, but just being barely decent enough to fill in for a bad team in a pinch because the pandemic prevented them from finding a qualified kicker shouldn't earn you a spot in the record books.
