Lenders typically rely on independent appraisals hired and paid for by borrowers. It will be interesting to see in Vance’s case who the appraisers were for each variation in value on the same asset.

I’d challenge that. Yeah I believe the borrower pays the appraisal cost but the appraiser is chosen by the lender I’d submit.

But yes this is ripe for abuse by all three parties. However that doesn’t absolve the lender of insuring they’ve secured adequate collateral.

I doubt it. They have to know that all Trump’s are being watched closely. 75% of those donations can be used by Trump for the future but none can be used, legally, for personal living expenses

Not the missing $100 million from the 2016 inauguration committee is a different manner. That is a different litigation being litigated in DC

As I told my parents, you want Calofornia to be able to tell TN how to run its state cause that's the slippery slope this would lead to.

There are still a few cases in state courts but my guess is Biden is elected, Republicans hold the Senate, Hunters name is dragged through the mud causing Harris to step in within 24 months as president and the Republicans pick up more seats in the midterms and this country is a total crap fest the next 4 years.

Somewhere in all the shady stuff, the dems have screwed the pooch again, and it will come back and bite them - just like playing the nuclear option in congress and believing they would continue in control so no worries.
