Doesn't change facts. If someone told you we were looking at a coach that had gone 19-21 in the SEC and you didn't know it was Hugh Freeze, you wouldn't be jumping for joy. Do I think Freeze is a good coach? Yes. Do I think he's a guarantee to succeed here? Not by a longshot. You guys have built him up as a football messiah, and I don't see it. If he were the hire, I'd hope he turned things around, but he's not this surefire no-brainer that many of you want to profess. And that ignores the point that he apparently sucks at cheating.Mullen was 33-39 at Miss St.
He was in the West at it's peak, in what is interchangeably the 5th, 6th, or 7th best program in the west any given year.
@skeeter33418 do you have any JP information you can share?Need a skeeter drive by

Chadwell is obviously not my top pick but I’d be overjoyed if he somehow ended up here. I don’t know about what he would or wouldn’t do other than knowing he said he plays to his teams strength.Chadwell would instantly forget how to coach if he got hired, or he would get the bright idea to have an incredibly complicated offensive scheme to bring to Knoxville.

(That's the closest thing I've got to the old Skeeter signal.)

You guys have blinders on. I know his successes at OM. I also know his failures. Unlike some, I've looked at the entire picture, not just the rosy stuff that supports your opinion. Would he be better than Pruitt? Yeah, I think he would. It would be hard not to be at this point. Hell, he might even turn out to be great, but then again, he might not. You guys have this image built up in your head that he's gonna come riding in on a white horse and save UT football, and I just don't agree that he's guaranteed to do that. And it seems to piss some of you off to no end that not everyone agrees he's the UT savior. There are other coaches I would call first, but Freeze would be on my list. Just not at the top of it.2 wins vs Bama count for a lot. Blowout Sugar Bowl win too.
