Didn't see the game but I understand it was a heck of a comeback. Don't know how Ashley Joens performed for ISU but she was unstoppable against our gamecocks.

She played great as well. Had 35 and 13 boards. If she had any help at all from her supporting cast they would be a very tough team. Their guard play is just shaky. Really hurt them down the stretch. I think Iowa State is going to lose a lot of close games this season unless one other player steps up. Ashley is an extremely talented finisher in the paint for her size, but she’s literally going to have to score 30-40 points every night for them to have a shot.

I agree. If she's the PG her primary job will be to run the team on the floor and to distribute the ball. She averaged over 20 ppg in HS so she has the ability to score, but I think Auriemma will be pushing more for assists.

Looks like former LV, Mimi Collins, will be starting for Maryland. Star freshman, Angel Reese, has a broken foot and is expected to miss at least 3 months.

I remember seeing a video of her as a junior out muscling boy players much bigger that her. She was aggressive and quick to the ball. I don't know if the boys were taking it easy but it was a very impressive video. I really wanted her to come but realized that was impossible at that time.

DiDi with the defense as usual! Have loved watching her play. DiDi is one of the few players that made a name for herself on defense alone. I’m not sure what her career aspirations are, but I think she would make a great coach. If she could teach someone else to play defense like she does she’d win a lot of ballgames.

UNC lost to Wake 57-54 and in that game Fr Anya Poole 6-2 replace 6-3 So Malu Tshitenge in the starting lineup.Tshitenge only played 11 mins. Malu Tshitenge have decrease in each game so far. I`m pretty sure she will be in the transfer portal at some point. And to be fair Anya Poole is no joke can flat out play on the low block was miss basketball in NC.

We've had the pleasure of seeing our team play four games already, only missing one game because of a cancellation. I cannot imagine how excited and happy the Connecticut fans are to get to see their team play tomorrow for the first time this season. I'll bet none of them are complaining that it's against UMass Lowell, either. ANY game is a good game in this crazy season!
