2020 Presidential Race

These dems are f’ed up in the head
What's really f'ed up is Clay Travis tweeting about an opinion piece from the fashion page of The Guardian about a haircut, and then right wing zombies getting worked up over it. Clay is laughing his a$$ off as he cashes his check.

No one is worked up, we just enjoy pointing out the hypocrisy with your dnc media. I’m glad he’s cashing large checks, at least for now we are free to make as much money as we would like.

I have no idea who played golf with their dad, who played at Tyndall, and who was a 2 handicap and quit. The quote thing has me confused.

In my opinion , the cleanup has been lacking lately, with all the blatant meme violations and unchecked OT material.

Will be full blown anarchy soon.

Nah.. I kind of like it.

Maybe just put a fact check disclaimer over everything.[/QUOTE]
I'm the one who's been facking it up. Sorry

Actually it would not spark a “redo”.
If SCOTUS rules in favor of Texas then there are several things that could happen. The worst case senecio would be those states set aside and then neither candidate reaches the 272 EC votes. At that point it would be i the hands of the state legislatures to vote on behalf of the state. Even then it’s unclear if it would fall back to every state legislature or just the 4 set aside.

Even if it were to go to an entire state legislature vote I think it still would break Bidens way. If at the end of the day we go through all this (and I think we absolutely should) and it still breaks Bidens way it will be a good day in my mind. The constitution will have been protected and maybe just maybe nobody tries to go around the constitution again. Furthermore the new rules for ballot collecting will be thrown out and legislature will have to do its job if they want change.

However if the EO is allowed to stand the left will be on here raising hell when the other side eliminates gun laws by the same method. (Keep an eye on Texas)

Asking everyone to follow the law is not unreasonable.

It all comes back to the business thing of there's never time to do it right but there's always time to fix it. States decided to screw around with established voting rules without taking the time to do it the right way. They didn't put in proper safeguards and tweaked stuff on the fly in spite of rules in place, and so here we are with the government version of poor design and the consequences of failure. There are all the typical symptoms - whistleblowers, hiding evidence, circling the wagons, and people at the top of the scam hoping and praying that the first crack in the wall doesn't happen ... it will.

The interesting part will be watching to see how one part of government protects other parts; the touchy part is trying to balance the appearance of fixing the fault while minimizing growing lack of faith in government to run anything ... anything at all. All with two rival factions that the "leaders" fired up watching. Gonna be fun - something between watching paint dry to revolution French style.
