Heres a curveball for you folks



What if the SEC has said one more year is time served for freeze and fulmer is waiting for that time to pass ???

There is just no positive momentum around the program at all currently. I don't know what moves can be done to give anyone confidence that things will change and players will be motivated to put in the work during the offseason to get better.

I don’t think anyone truly expected to WIN the east and if we didn’t no one would care.... but we are not competitive against the top programs. Not even Kentucky now. There’s absolutely no excuse for that.

Would love to see him here. Can’t believe Vandy is about to hire a better ball coach than us

tbf, he has done a lot better job at minnesota than I thought he would. Going 11-2 there is probably the equivalent of us winning the SEC.

then fulmer would make a public statement of support for Pruitt declaring him the coach in 2021.

If Chadwell or Napier is the best we can do, I will except the fact that 7 wins is probably the best I'll ever see Tennessee for the rest of my life.

There's truth to this, in rebuild like he took on it would take 4 to 5 years. The problem is this team has regressed, development is a huge issue and roster/player management has been horrid. When it goes this bad typically there isn't any coming back. But it like like Fulmer is prepared to ride the ship full of water into the storm instead of going back to harbor. I expect this to end very ugly, hell, it already is.

VQ guys opened the podcast today saying the administration above Fulmer wants the football program to win, and that people should stop saying they don't care about winning.

Uh, no ****? I don't think the VQ guys understand the point we are making when we say that.

People want all kinds of stuff. I want a million dollars to fall down my chimney. The fact of the matter is the administration wants to win like I want 5 dollars off my next oil change.

It would be cool, but it isn't worth the effort to fill out the form to get the coupon to make it happen.

I've wondered that myself. Not just about freeze but another coach. I would like to think we are ahead of the game for once but I doubt it.

Best we can do now behind Freeze, yes. We need someone that can take us to 8-9 wins consistently. That has a chance to compete for SEC title every 3-4 years. We are a dumpster fire right now guys.

We aren't the Vols of 90's or early 00's.

This team has a loser mentality. That takes time to break. I'd say a year or two, jmo though.
