Okay crazy question. My seven year old has been watching peyton places with me and wants a manning tennessee jersey. Anyone know where I could find something like that in a kids size? I'm just stoked my brain washing has finally started to show some progress! 😜
Fanatics has them

Look at the teams I mentioned. I could live with 5 but four are no brainers or we need to stop talking about being an upper echelon SEC team.

We shouldn’t be talking about being an upper echelon SEC team until we are a middle tier one consistently.
Give me 7-9 wins the next 5 years and then set that goal

I knew we were in trouble with the '18 class because if Pruitt were the recruiter we had pegged him to be, he would have picked off some guys from Bama and Georgia.

Didn’t Pruitt stay on with Bama through the playoffs? And he was named HC 13 days before ESD.

Just who exactly did you expect him to pick off in that short amount of time?

Bass, recruiting has not been good enough. It just hasn’t.

He’s recruited one difference maker on defense (Henry T) and even that guy has been pretty meh this year.
Why are you moving the goal posts? You started out talking about one class, the 2018 class. You were wrong about that. Now you’re wanting to talk recruiting in general. Make up your mind

Abs look how he regressed this year. I was afraid he’d leave after his JR year but he may need the extra year.

If the situation were reversed and it was our DC being hired away, we would be taking about how much character he showed by staying on.
Sure, but the only time the roles were reversed is when Cutcliffe took the Ole Miss job and left immediately.

Tennessee wished him well and understood he had a job to do.

Pruitt decided a title at Alabama was more important than a recruiting class at Tennessee. While a title is the ultimate goal, being the head man at another program should get 100% of your attention.

I didn’t care about it at the time - but in hindsight it’s a red flag given his comments about having a job at Alabama ASAP if we fire him.

He’s had three classes. The ‘18 one was the worst in modern UT history. You can makes excuses for it but it was still awful. ‘19 was historically average for Tennessee. ‘20 was very good.

On the whole, he’s been below average in this department when we probably needed top 5 classes to make up for his lack of development. And he’s totally whiffed at corner and pass rusher. Two areas he was supposedly an expert.
