Courts have to be willing to hear the case first. If at this point you don't think anything illegal happened, I don't know what to tell you. States literally changed the rules to allow for mass mail in balloting that was then collected and counted with very lenient verification. This has never happened before in history. Not to mention the thousands of affidavits. You can claim their lying, I'm sure that's what you think. But that hasn't been proven. These people are not even being allowed their day in court. That is sad and a travesty tbh. Texas is going to the Supreme Court so we'll see, won't we? You should be fine with that if you don't think anything has happened here.

Not going to throw a fake number out there but the vast majority of the affidavits have been garbage. People either didn’t understand what they were seeing was actually quite normal or things like “I was being looked at funny”, “A Dem poll watcher called me a Karen” or “I saw vans pull up and didn’t see anything come out of them.” Or better yet “I heard someone talking about something they heard.” If they weren’t garbage they would carry more weight in court.

Just because Rudy and McEneny go on TV and hold up a stack a papers claiming they have 100s of affidavits doesn’t mean they are worth the paper they are printed on.

Texas asks U.S. Supreme Court to help Trump upend election

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The state of Texas, aiming to help President Donald Trump upend the results of the U.S. election, said on Tuesday it has sued Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin at the Supreme Court, calling changes those states made to election procedures amid the coronavirus pandemic unlawful.

The long-shot lawsuit, announced by the Republican attorney general of Texas Ken Paxton, was being filed directly with the Supreme Court rather than with a lower court, as is permitted for certain litigation between states. The Supreme Court has a 6-3 conservative majority including three justices appointed by Trump.

Even if it is real, I'd bet it gets tossed on standing. Seems they can use that when someone files a suit in which the filing entity is no more disenfranchised than others, so TX wouldn't be any more affected than most other states. It's going to be almost impossible to get any court to actually listen to anything because they do not want to touch this.

The real shame is that a lot of the dem side aren't even interested in the issue ... they won, and the rest don't see it as something that affects anyone else directly. The point is that an illegal vote for candidate A cancels a legal vote for candidate B. Basically an illegal vote robs someone one voting for another candidate of his/her constitutional right to vote ... it's not victimless even if you can't specifically identify a one on one relationship.

I’m not so sure. This is a peer challenge state to state based on a constitutional principles related to EC outcome impact. I’ve read opinions both ways.

But honestly I don’t think this will achieve the STATED outcome however over the last couple of days I don’t think that’s the DESIRED outcome. This late in the game on the day of safe harbor if we wind up challenging the votes in 5 states that could push us over the brink into open conflict in many areas.

No way Texas just came up with this so late. They’re playing a longer game. At this point I’m convinced the play is to put an asterisk by the Biden presidency, gain momentum for the midterms using an election steal narrative, and basically return a tit for tat on the last four years. And I’m fine with it. F$&@ their offer of unity 😈
