He's become my #1 as well. Behind Freeze anyways. Marrone is high for me also but he probably stays in the NFL. Harsin would be a home run I feel. Hopefully Fulmer can use the Caldwell connection and make something happen.
75-23 overall. 9 wins is the least amount he's had in a year. OC at a big program like Texas. Affordable buyout. Fulmer connection, its so easy too easy. Oh yeah and his wife isn't too bad either.

Caldwell coached with him at Boise State as well. He has to be on Fulmer's list. Like you said it would be too easy and makes too much sense.

I would bet he would make room for him on his staff. Recruiting would be the only question mark but he would have the resources to overcome any initial shortcomings in that department.
Recruiting for Moore shouldn't be too hard. Dak Prescott. Plus Harsin was Moores QB coach and OC so that shouldn't be too hard to sell either.

Thinking of that female kicker for Vandy reminds me how vicious girls can be playing football. Many, many moons ago, when I was in high school, we were goofing around, playing some coed football. I swear I saw a girl tackle a dude by his scrotum. It was vicious. Poor guy was just a freshman and couldn't walk straight afterward. I made it a point not to run in her direction. A little pain can be fun, but that didn't look fun at all.

99 percent of these elite HS players today, do not know a damn thing about Fulmer or even care, they just know that coaches like Saban, Dabo, and Urban run the whole show and win.
I guess that matters a whole lot because Fulmer is our coach, right?

Fulmer is tied to JP success at this point. Fulmer has crossed the line a few times as it relates to his AD role and some big time boosters are well aware of this when/if the time comes to ensure he is shown the door if the opportunity presents itself.
I wish he had not crossed that line. He inherited an impossible situation and hired the best he could, given the circumstances. Has he run completely out of equity?

Fulmer has been working on contracts for some coaches that are expiring. Tells you all you need to know about JP returning IMO.
Agree with Hubbs at this point.. Bass should get his wish on weinke....jay planning on staying and as of now friend may be back however there have been some flare ups between him and JP lately but we will see how that shakes out.

More to come on the assistant side...certainly think Chaney is in play as well.
Not liking this at all.

Definitely not happy about the direction we're headed, but Fulmer wants stability in this program. And Pruitt has done some good things especially surrounding the culture of the football program. And recruiting has been well up to this point.
It's not easy to fire a coach 3 years into a job, especially since the program had been trending upward. The team still is not where it needs to be depth-wise, and holding many players due to tracing has affected their development. I think Pruitt and staff have managed that horribly, and the losing has spiraled out of control. Should he be fired for that as a first time head coach? Fulmer would like not to, and I think he may extend the leash on him until next year. Lose to Vandy and things may change.
Hahahahaha. Nothing on you of course since you are just passing this along.

But my word what an awful take.
