Gray always runs for big yards and we still lose. Why would this scenario be any different. I don’t know if people realize how lucky we were to win our 2 games. If we played Mizzou now, it wouldn’t be close.

Phil screwed up with the extension. He prematurely tied us to Pruitt. That's where he screwed up.

Fulmer should have hired Tee and given him a shot over the Bama lover. We could have dealt with him learning on the job and bringing in the best assistants money could buy. Pruitt hire is a disaster. I hope for Fulmers sake that ATL is wrong because the coach is loved by a lot of his former players and I know they are getting upset with the coach. Pissing off boosters is one thing, pissing off family and those who went to war with you is another.

I know Phil very well but we never talk ball. We only talk family. I think he is a great guy. Hard-headed--yes; but there is no question he loves this University. His stubbornness outweighs the well-being of football, at least.

Agree with Hubbs at this point.. Bass should get his wish on weinke....jay planning on staying and as of now friend may be back however there have been some flare ups between him and JP lately but we will see how that shakes out.

More to come on the assistant side...certainly think Chaney is in play as well.

If Fulmer wants to save himself and still be beloved and save UT football he has to make a move. The next coach may not workout but Fulmer absolutely can’t sink with this ship. He has to at least make an attempt.

Honestly don’t see this staff winning 8 games. I know it’s difficult to imagine but at least 3 out of 4 of those games are toss ups.

I think that is our ceiling next year if things go our way and HB plays well. It’s sad when your best should still be a fireable offense.

In real life you have to worry about embarrassing the university if you hire Freeze and you have to worry about firing a guy in year 3 that you promised 5 years to. You have to look people in the face as you talk about these decisions.

I still believe we are trying to save our recruiting class and decisions will be made after ESD.

Then tell him his legacy is on the line if he stays with Gump and doesn’t hire Freeze. He wants to go out beloved with TN fans. TN will make up this lost money in 2 years. This is how he can do it.

IF stadiums are full next year you’d expect everyone to be eager to get back into some normality and back in Neyland but sadly I think they’ll see 50% or lower capacity even IF they are allowed to be full. Sad times. I used to go all the time and haven’t been in 2 years. Had intentions to go last year but why waste money and resources, when we lost to BYU and GA St it killed my want to go so I just watched on tv. I’m sure others can relate.
