I wouldn't be so quick to anoint Pittman and Drinkwitz as great coaches; it's just year 1.

However, I think what you're seeing at Florida now with Mullen is what happens when a good coach who was at a lower-level SEC program gets talent. Mullen had more that demonstrated at Miss St that he was a good coach; he just was never going to be able to attract a bunch of high-level recruits there.

The lack of press that guy gets relative to the power he wields is stunning. And I'm sure he loves it that way. I guess he also shuns the limelight and doesn't talk to the media, which makes it kind of hard to cover him and make it interesting.
