Fulmer wouldn't be the one to make that move. He would be let go for hiring Tee.You can’t be serious with Tee?!
When he fails you know it absolutely kill Fulmer to fire him. I don’t see it
I’ll say this about Tee or any coach we hire. I’m going to give them a legitimate chance to succeed here.Imagine a Tee Martin “national championship winning QB gets the job he’s always wanted” montage with the entire 1998 team at the press conference.
That’d be this x100000
Need way more than all that.Fulmer wouldn't be the one to make that move. He would be let go for hiring Tee.
But TN is at its best when a TN guy is in charge. Tee has been to the pinnacle and knows what it takes to get there. He has a reputation of being a good recruiter and ive never seen a coach talk bad about him. He would be a guy that could see the university, buy also be willing to learn from Phil on how to run the program. Last but not least, a black head coach in the SEC at a premier school, that would sell to recruits. Its not as bad as people think it will be I a very confident in saying that.
I don't understand your 1st two sentences (especially the 2nd one) but I'll put you down for a "yes" on Stoops.
SIAP but I don't recall us talking about this...View attachment 328398
I'd rather him try OC in the SEC first or like someone else said, let him hone his craft at Arkansas State or Coastal Carolina first. Then call him upFulmer wouldn't be the one to make that move. He would be let go for hiring Tee.

Had failed at Ole Miss and done well (on an interim basis) at USC. Way less calculated risk involved.I’ll say this about Tee or any coach we hire. I’m going to give them a legitimate chance to succeed here.
I will never say never, Ed O won a natty, and I don’t care the circumstances around it. Ed O won a national title, and I’d bet anything you want to that NOBODY at LSU thought he would do that. Whoever we hire gets a fair shake because you just don’t know.
This right here.. You need role players, just like you need all stars. Gives balance.A great coaching staff is just like a business team. Rarely does an all star staff work - too many egos. A group of knowledgeable qualified coaches that are able to work together is the key.
Special teams involve every coach on staff, if a team excelled on special teams then often you have a cohesive staff.
That cleared things up.I just spent two hours making hot chocolate bombs with 4 kids under 9. Sorry,
My words are mismanaged.
I remember Stoops was very smug toward the love the SEC teams got. He always felt superior and was vocal about it (he was a jackass).
But all things considered, I’d take the success he had year in and year out at OU.
