This would all be different if we struggled on offense and then were playing great defense. But we really do not look good in any phase of the game. Special teams, offense and defense all look very mediocre to bad.
I expected Pruitt to build a great defense here. I'm not sure we're anywhere close to that in the foreseeable future. This is a huge failure on his part. If he can't give us that at the very least he's not the guy.
It's time to move on before recruits start backing out and we get even further behind.
Freeze him out.
Their board was wrong, much like many fan boards. I read that University president wanted Satterfield and encouraged AD to reach out. He was contacted early in the process.Maybe he did, but it was mentioned on their board that Satterfield was lobbying hard just to get in on the process (and this was well before he was publicly linked to USCe)
That's one of the problems we have now. Continual staff changes for the last three years. Continuity takes time and we disrupt that every year. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the last DC hire. I think Ansley vouched for him because they worked together and it bit Pruitt in the a$$. Makes me think Ansley might be next.Staff changes could cause a little excitement for next year. It seldom works out though.
2020 College Football Bowl Predictions - NCAA Bowl Game Projections
Can’t imagine winning 2 games and playing UAB in the Birmingham bowl and getting beat.
He had App St rolling. I wouldn't be in love with the hire, but I'd give him a chance. We could do worse much much worse. Funny enough I was researching him last night when I was going through some off the wall names.Hypothetical question: if you found out Tennessee was working on a deal with Scott Satterfield, how would you react to that?
