For a while, Currie kept things close and he never had any intentions of firing Butch, because he wasn’t ready to put that pressure on himself. Eventually, he had no choice.

The same is about to happen for Phil.

Another thing about Shrout. He moved in the pocket better than I thought he could. I thought the kid was slower than Bray.

And 2 of the losses were to Vandy. Freeze is a good coach, but I don't call a losing SEC record successful. Would Freeze be better than Pruitt? Probably yes. That doesn't make him a sure thing.

He's the slowest fast guy I've ever seen.

Probably because the Pac 12 doesn't have near the athletes the SEC does, even the ones that do play on 3 teams, his former team being one. SEC is just another level.

Eric Gray’s double spats had me feeling some kind of way.

Eric Gray not lowering his shoulder and getting the 1st down really pissed me off this game. Like dude it’s 3rd and like 6. Make one move lower your shoulder and go and pick that thing up.... instead he dances after he breaks one tackle and then gets tackled again without making the first down because he doesn’t lower his shoulder. You have to have situational awareness and know the proper times to make more than one cut.

It was on here. Biggest difference is the media isn't there yet. Also right before a coach gets fired usually some behind the scenes stuff gets dumped. Ex with Butch the real thing that happened to Tuttle.

The crazy ignorant part was when they were going to run it with him again in 3rd and 6 before the review change the sack knee down. No doubt in my mind they were going to run it there knowing they wanted a 4th and 1-2 situation. No school in American calls more 3rd plays to gain part of the yards so they can go for it on 4th down than we do.

My fault. I talked about how much I like Cristobal as a coach so of course he starts to suck. You guys didn't believe me when I told you about my curse. One of the reasons I stopped making bets.

That’s the only thing I like about Ty. He will get that first down by lowering his shoulder. He knows in certain situations he can’t dance around and he just plows into people and usually stays on his feet. Like his Touchdown run.
