The waters are a lot different at where he's been vs a P5. The game is a lot different as well. Nobody without P5 HC experience should be considered.

If playing purely for the future, sure. But would have given us even less of a chance in the immediate games it now appears . Still don't believe in Maurer though.

Our QB room/coaching is just pointless rn. No one can lead us to even 25+ points consistently rn.

Do you not think Bailey would have had a better game today if he had played against Arkansas and Auburn.
Does the playcalling get no blame? Does running it on first and second down then getting put in a third a long have any influence on QB play? Still don't understand the point of bringing in Shrout when UF goes to soft coverage and starts rushing 3 and 4. Bailey did fine and executed the horrible gameplan we had.

A lot better chance of leading us to 25 points if not making first start against #6 and having a completely vanilla gameplan.

COVID has taught us one thing, it’s exposed the coaches who know what they’re doing vs the ones who don’t.

Only exception might be LSU, I don’t think O is that good of a coach, but literally all his good players opted out except for Stingley.

You're right. I got caught up in the excitement. We need an experienced head coach, that's had success in the SEC. No more unprovens or Saban coordinators. I want a proven winner to coach the Vols

I'm so tired if watching this crap. I wish I had a switch I could flip that eliminates all desire to follow Tennessee football. Don't want to read about it, listen, watch or commiserate on a message board, a total blackout. No offense to all of you fellow fans on here it's a great place. When I'm at work or the gym or grocery store and someone mentions a Tennessee player doing this or that I have no idea who they're talking about. I'm exhausted with it and in no way is it worth following anymore.

We have to aspire higher. Let him prove he is ready or not somewhere else. Before you ask, I don't know who we could get.
