I agree with this but how many ill advised throws would JG have thrown? HB didn’t stare down any receivers and went threw progressions. It’s easy to see HB has been training with some really good QB coaches for a long time. I know for a fact JG would have fumbled on a couple of those sacks. I was overall pleased with HB first start against a top 10 team. Where would HB be if he had played more early in the year? Coaching killed this season.

Bailey stared down his WR1 quite a few times if you watch. One was almost a pick six in the 1st half except he luckily threw the ball into the dang dirt haha. It was an early game 3rd down and Chaney had him throwing to the boundary...30 yard pass to gain 5 yards Great scheming and coaching.

Luckily he did avoid some other dangerous throws. But tried to break records for grounding penalties. Elite qb coaching, again.

HB actually has attributes of a QB. How many times have you seen JG go through progressions and not stare down a receiver? How many times have you seen JG actually move in the pocket? How many times would JG have fumbled on those sacks? There is no doubt in my mind had we started HB form the the UK game we would be in better shape record wise. Did HB look like an all American? No. But you’re griping a about a kid who plays for a trash team with no defense and not an ounce of good coaching. Not to mention he’s a freshman. JG is a 5th year senior who reads a defense like Helen Keller.

Took some sacks but no pick sixes and no FUMBLES...which is an underrated component of the trash which is JG’s game.

Pruitt said post-game the reason he didn't play was he hadn't practice in 13 days. Pruitt also talked about playing the guy who did certain things the best in practice. That doesn't sound like a coach who is ready to hang JG up

After taking a little time to stew on another double digit loss I’ll say this. I’m officially off the Pruitt train, I tend to give coaches the benefit of the doubt but it’s painfully obvious Pruitt is in over his head. I understand what he inherited I do, but a good head coach doesn’t loose games by 20+ on a consistent basis even with lesser talent (look at Ole Miss, Miss St, Arkansas) good coaches don’t talk about players not executing in year 3, good coaches don’t have to burn timeouts at least once a game because we’re not lined up properly and I could go on. My message to Fulmer is this, there is no shame in admitting a mistake the fans know the s**t situation you came into and will understand if move on in a timely manner but if you wait until next year to fire Pruitt you risk tarnishing a Hall of Fame legacy with the fan base. I have no idea who the next coach would be but I do know there are a ton of very good coaches available that would want this job, don’t wait a year too long and miss on them..... Rant over.

Pruitt/Chaney doesn't have an offense that works in the SEC either. I'm willing to try if Chadwell is the basement of who could be hired. He at least wouldn't be a Alabama transplant.

Herman did well at Houston and if he repeated here what he did at Texas, this fan base would probably tolerate him for a decade before wanting to get rid of him.

See how far we have fallen? Because we scored two garbage TD's CP get leash. Hey booster's look they didn't hang 40 on us and I made the game look close. So I get another year for keeping them under 40? THANK YOU! We give millions to a coach that will be 3-7 at best and be happy that we didn't get "blown out" by UF.
