Pretty sure he already dropped an HB pass in a previous game. Dude just has the yips or something. Probably in his head at this point.

If I were a betting man, which I’m not, I’d be willing to say he’s not even looking in Hugh’s direction. I’ve read too much about the disdain they have for one another.

Remember when we went into halftime vs Georgia with a lead and a huge 4th down stop. Who woulda thought that would be the last time we felt any bit of excitement or joy the rest of the season and Pruitt’s seat would be scorching hot with every fan completely giving up on him with 3 games left. Crazy

He may have a plan, but is it one we fans would be happy with? I honestly don't believe Fulmer would be looking to Freeze. So who does that legitimately leave that might take the job?

Here's the rub, I have heard their is animus between them. Although it apears he greenlit Freeze as an OC hire back in 2019, but SEC nixed it. I don't believe all the powers that be would agree to hiring Freeze. So if Pruitt is canned, it could be a Napier, or Fuente, if he's fired. I think I'd rather hire Marrone than either of those guys.

Fuente is bombing at Va Tech. I don't see Marrone as that great an option. I don't know enough about Napier. Not sure I'd see any of those 3 as an inspiring hire. If you can't get the big money guys on board and aim high, then I'm not sure what the benefit of making a change is? We'll most likely be right back in the same spot in a few years. We have to kill the cycle and hire someone proven if we make a change.

Probably guys that would never come here, but if you have the backing of the money guys, you go for the big fish before settling for a small one. Truthfully, I think we're screwed no matter what. We're not an elite program anymore. We've lost our luster, and Coach McGoogle may be the best we can do.

i think it's very telling that one of the main themes this week in discussing this game is that we have to "show a pulse". "play with passion/want to" etc....basically where is our give a ish setting right now?

i think i've heard that more than anything else in regards to this game.

beat vandy and act like you give a _____ against FL. that's where we are.
