I was at both, OK was the loudest I’ve heard a game start to finish. That stadium was out for blood that night, team just couldn’t finish.

This game and the Cal game were insane. A competent coach wins that OK game. Florida 98 was also super loud.

As a white coach, the implication that I can't impact Black athletes is ridiculous and evidence strongly indicates otherwise. We don't coach black players or white players, we coach kids.

I don't think anyone is saying that you, or any other white coach cannot have a positive impact on Black athletes. I do think that many black athletes are frustrated at what they perceive as a problem in that people of their race cannot fill more of these leadership roles. At the end of the day, I am going to hire who is the best for the job. I have no issues with giving a black person the opportunity to win or earn the job. That door was closed to them for a good, long while.

Why does it have to be about race? Why can’t we hire the best and employ who we think is the best candidate. If that means black, white, Asian, etc. then hire who is the best fit.

Because minorities don’t get that chance as often. Is Charlie strong the only black candidate we’ve ever interviewed?

Lol. Miami would have beaten us easily by 2-3 TDs. We lost to a mediocre Georgia. Barely beat a 2 win Kentucky team.

So, they probably would have been about a 17-18 point favorite? Just like the Gators were?

2006 was a shame. I was there, and Mapu was called for a questionable roughing the passer, which allowed them to beat us.

I would say it was more than questionable. It was utter and total BS.

Let this sink in. Let’s say Pruitt goes 1-2 the rest of this season. Pruitt would basically have to go 8-4 in 2021 and then 9-3 in 2022 to get to 34 wins that would equal Butch Jones win total at UT. Is it doable? Maybe. Who thinks that’s going to happen?
