Only chance is him learning from past mistakes. I am not sure he can. But if he assumed DC duties again and brought in Herman as OC and let him run the offense by himself, I could see a situation where we could win 8-9. I am just not sure Pruitt can make hard changes to his offensive philosophy and change how he is running this program. We shall see. I’m not sure he makes it past this year. All depends on how the games go.....

He was LIT-TRE-UHLEE on staff. Ergo the tweet, 'vols lose offensive staffer'.

I guess the fact you can't read proves what most our fans have said about you for a long time

So on Vol Calls tonight there was a kid called in and said JG was his favorite player (which it's been reported that JG is basically done at UT), then some redneck calls in and tells Pruitt to go back to bama, which JP handles surprisingly well, and then Phillip Fulmer calls in and reminds everybody that Pruitt's and Major's coaching careers at UT are starting out in similar ways and we're better than the record shows. mmmmmm.....Pruitt only took 1 call last week and got ripped over it. This week he's cutting up and showing life? Does anybody else think Vol Calls might have been staged this week? Are they messing with us VN?

Only way we get rid of Chaney, IMO, is if someone else hires him. Doubt we pay his buyout.

We fired our DL coach who had been on the job a few months and owe him close to a million. They will let Chaney go if they think it is in the best interest of our program. Especially if the OC hire is Herman.

That’s exactly what happened with me. I haven’t shot a deer with a rifle for 8 years. Really got into bow hunting, and even hunting with my recurve. Didn’t bow hunt this year due to just being busy af, but miss it. I like to muzzle hunt as well. Bow hunting is def where the excitement is tho!

I disagree. Supposedly Fulmer was pretty pissed about that situation.

I don’t see anyone paying him what were paying him. I think it is well known around the league he needs superior talent to be successful. He’s not going to out scheme you with lesser talent like a Briles.

No idea. All hypothetical right now. But if things get bad this weekend and the next.... Well I think things get pretty interesting. I do think either way we spend some money upgrading the staff.

IF Pruitt stays as stated before, I hope he is given some specific, measurable benchmarks that have to be hit in 21 to keep his job beyond that. Also hope UT takes advantage of some ex HCs with a past as quality assistants. Muschamp, Bobo, Herman would all be good additions in some capacity
