I don't. I think the QB was that trash. But Chaney has been a popular scapegoat.
Chaney is good to very good OC as long as he has very good to elite talent. He's not going to scheme wins, just not his style. He has received more of the blame then he deserves.

I do believe that for us to be successful and retain some level of success over time we would do better with a more modern style offense that schemes playmakers to get open in space. JMO.

Hindsight being 0/0, you're saying you'd back this guy 100%?View attachment 327469
Majors was a homegrown, VFL, Heisman runner up, Neyland disciple, and just won a national championship at Pittsburgh.

People were more than willing to give him all the time he needed and for good reason.

Let’s be honest most of our Pruitt hate is really because of one thing and that’s JG. Like AP says on his podcast, if he never starts JG again after Ky then the hate is nowhere near the level it’s at right now. People are just over JG and his screwups costing wins and limiting the offense. It makes no sense to start someone that your scared to let them sling it especially when you should be thinking long term once you lost that game

Yeah, im not mad at giving him another year. TBH if Pruitt is kept, which I see very little reason to think he won't be, I think staff continuity is critical. Imo, new o line coach, new d line coach, new linebackers coach, needs to TE and Osovet to special teams coordinator or off the field role.
