We are at risk of every election being a litigation that continues past the next election.

If the judiciary isn't willing to overturn an election because voters found out, after the fact, that they may have voted unconstitutionally, I'll side with those who voted in good faith.

I thought it was a state election. Each person is only voting for their state electors, not the actual president.....right?
Or maybe we do need national standards, like with education.
Who knows, it's all so confusing; and maintaining logical consistency is so darn difficult.

That makes sense. State departments probably don’t have funds for that kind of thing and the legislatures are probably too afraid of people texting their wives with threats or whatever to support a pushback campaign.

Mostly this. I think “battleground state” is another criteria.

NY and CA were still counting until a few days ago. Nobody complained because they weren’t really contested.

Also on your side of the ledger: Iowa just figured out their last congressional race.

I supported Trump. That being said I really hope that this election win by Biden is legitimate. Because having an undesirable president is nothing compared to an election system that is compromised.

Barr has said the DOJ has seen no evidence that would turn the election Trumps favor. Trump is publicly hinting at 2024. There was no significant election shenanigans. Trumps lawyers have yet to present anything hard hitting in court. The writing is clearly on the wall.

You can't be serious with this. Donald Trump would claim there was fraud in any battleground state which he lost. He proved that right away in the 2016 Republican Party Primary when he said that Ted Cruz had cheated to win the 2016 Iowa caucuses. There is not a set of conditions under Donald Trump would ever lose an election without completely blaming the loss on fraud, or cheating. Trump is petulant, egotistical, thin-skinned and self-absorbed. This post-election litigation hasn't been driven by proof of fraud. It's been driven by the bruised ego of a stubborn and childish narcissist who can't admit that he lost, and by the cowardly enablers who continue to placate him with absurd conspiracy theories.

It only looks that way bc Trump can't take an L. When your own DOJ is saying they haven't seen anything that would turn the election Trumps way then you know it's over. And Trump hinting at 2024 tells us he knows it's over. Ignore all the crap on the internet. Pay attention to the quality of evidence Trumps legal team presents. Right now it's been shat.

I reiterate my earlier point: there is no way on God's green Earth that you could assemble the huge number of people needed to cast hundreds of thousands of votes in exactly the right spots so as to change the result and have no one talk about it, leak it, blabber about it, etc. The theory that the DOJ and some network of people pulled this off and no one has said a word is beyond ludicrous.
