Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Makes sense, but it seems like they’d still want to limit the inflow of sick patients as well.
It is my understanding that is the plan. Vaccinate health care personnel and the vulnerable as fast as possible. Another possible reason (speculation on my part) health care workers are in the front of the line is:
A) Generally healthier and can handle any nasty side effects from the vaccinations.
B) Will need to be available to render care if nasty side effects put more patient care demand on health care facilities.

I am thinking it's a whole lot of B.

Got to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Also as the most exposed you get more "bang for the buck".

@kiddiedoc so if the virus is as contagious as they say and seeing as how this was the busiest travel weekend for airlines since the start of all this then in theory we should see huge outbreaks at major airports among workers, right?

And waters wet..... What did we just accomplish?

Thanks for your reply. What we accomplished is I made a statement of fact and you didn’t challenge you responded with another statement of fact which I accept

Both are becoming a rare occurrence on here. That is an accomplishment and cause for optimism 🙂

I'm not an agument waiting to happen. I actually don't like arguing.... So much for my future dreams of being a lawyer... Sigh.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Respiratory viruses tend to spread amongst prolonged, close contacts. I guess it would just depend on the situation.

Well viruses and parasites do have a little in common in that they need to infect other cells for their survival
Ivermectin alters the cell membrane permeability of parasites and mites/lice. Viruses do not have cell membranes...
